Hell is the Night The Second Gomer Wars is now on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and AuthorHouse. The e-book format is up and running. Thanks to everyone for their assistance in getting this book out into the world, and thanks to you, the reader, for bearing with me throughout this whole process. We have added links to all these vendors on the 'Buy the Books' page. I would appreciate any feedback as you read the new book. Again, thank you! ~Michael S. Pauley
Apparently Hell is the Night The Second Gomer Wars IS becoming available on other vendors, one format at a time. I guess you could call it the 'trickle out' theory. We have not even received our advance copies yet, so we can all be surprised together! It has been a long and tedious journey from concept to printed page and this time, I am probably more nervous than with They Own the Night The First Gomer Wars. With the first book, I was too new at writing/publishing to be fully cognizant of all the steps involved and all the work that still needs to be done after publishing. Now I appreciate all that goes in to the post-production portion of putting a book out into the world. ~Michael S. Pauley
We just heard from the publisher that Hell is the Night The Second Gomer Wars has gone live! Right now, it is only available from Authorhouse, but should be on Amazon and Barnes & Noble soon. Just in time for Halloween! Wonder if anyone will be dressing as a Gomer? ~Michael S. Pauley
Hell is the Night The Second Gomer Wars is at the printers! Last report puts the books being available in 1-2 weeks. Words cannot convey my relief at being to this point, finally. Yet there is also a degree of trepidation, as an author never really feels like the book is ready. To quote some comedian from the past, "Here goes nothin'." ~Michael S. Pauley
Well, I've signed all the necessary paperwork to approve everything to get the book to the printer. The cover design is beautiful and striking. I am very much pleased with the looks of it. Hopefully Hell is the Night The Second Gomer Wars will be available in the next couple of weeks. We will also be up-dating the website to add links to vendors, like there are for the first book. Also up-dated/added will be the locales and Forces from Hell is the Night. I know there is a lot going on in the world right now, but I am taking pleasure in this accomplishment in my little corner. ~Michael S. Pauley
This is a big week around here. What with the final touches on the book and the World Series going on, everyone is running around like they've got one foot nailed to the floor. My lovely bride is tasked with doing a final read-through of the manuscript, but took the evening off to watch her Giants play. Needless to say, she was excited by their win. In the middle of all this, the youngest daughter decided to re-arrange her room, so we have boxes in the living room, a rack of clothes in the hallway and random bits of furniture being moved in and out of various rooms. And I still have a day job that is jam-packed this week! Here's to hoping we all survive it. ~Michael S. Pauley
Waiting in the e-mail at 6:00 a.m. - the proofs for the book! Guess what we'll be doing today. Once these are gone over and triple-checked, the book is ready for the printers. We are still hoping to have Book 2 out by the end of the month and will try to keep everyone up-dated. We are extremely excited as we are another step closer to sending this baby out into the world. ~Michael S. Pauley
There is much excitement for San Francisco and Kansas City fans as their teams prepare for the World Series. For the Giants, the magic of the even year seems to be holding, while the Royals fans have had to wait 29 years for this opportunity. Baseball fans everywhere look to be in for an exciting spectacle. Enjoy the Series! ~Michael S. Pauley
